Video Description:
In this Boomwebsearch Technology Explanatory Video, we are going to show what hard drive longevity looks like today using data statistics of failure rates shared by Backblaze which runs many different consumer-grade hard drives for their online computer data backup service as well as explaining some of the common signs to look out for in order to indicate if your hard drive is coming near to its failure point. If you have any suggestions on what we should make content on relating to analyzing hard drive longevity statistics, computer storage media, or anything related to tech, then please let me know in the comments below. Thank you all for being part of this growing channel. We create many technology-related videos to hopefully help and improve your understanding of technology topics/concepts/software and more. Tried editing this video with a new video editor, and the portion of the video showing and explaining the actual statistical part of the video got cut off, oops. Just realized this now, since the file was showing up completely in the editor, during the editing stage. At this point, we have made the decision to post the left out part as unlisted and link it within this comment. I would suggest watching this video first and then the statistics since it shows signs and symptoms of failure and gives a summary of the statistics; if you want the whole video more to the point. But if you came here for the statistics part, here is the link to that video segment which is unlisted for preventing confusion in our video upload feed: youtu.be/8_ERHCnbCLQ
